You Don’t Deserve My Tears

You don't deserve my tears,
They are golden, precious.
They should only be shed in the most meaningful moments.
They are not to be taken for granted,
Nor should they be wasted on you,
Who can’t fathom the magnitude of my emotions,
And the depth of my love.
I deserve all the blessings of joy
Not the pains you bring upon me
My self  needs my compassion
Not your dishonest ways.
You don't deserve my heart,
You only showered it with lies.
I deserve honesty and loyalty,
Not manipulated speech and lyrics.
You don't deserve my tears,
I'll not shed them over you.
My heart no longer hears,
What my soul once knew.
No longer am I bound,
In the ties of love we shared.
So I leave no regrets,
Nor any debt declared.
My dreams no longer burn,
Lingering thoughts of you.
The future I now discern,
No longer in pain, I'm through.
So I'll move with the wind,
No more tears you'll see.
Your heart I can't mend,
Nor yours, for me.

I hadn't gotten a notice for any new poetry so I came to stalk, erm, check on you to make sure you were okay. Imagine my surprise when I found this diamond. This is a poem a number of my former girlfriends could have written. As I read it, I wondered if I should have been looking over my shoulder. LoL I hope you're well, Charmane. Nice to read you again. :-)

It’s so weird thatnpietry.com didn’t post all my responses again. Anyways, new poems will be coming out soon. I was just too busy touring my relatives around.

Listen, I love your family as much as the next guy who's never met them and knows nothing about them, but if you're gonna go all MIA on us, then we're going to need some sort of advanced notice, otherwise the strain of your absence causes the dander to flair. I'd hate to have to call search and rescue on you for making us worry, but I will if I have to. Tell Auntie Maybelle the crazy poetry boy said Aloha. ;-P

First of all, I would like to say that your poem "You Don't Deserve My Tears" is truly captivating and beautiful. Your use of language and metaphors is powerful and paints a vivid picture of the emotional journey you have been through. Your message is clear and speaks to the importance of self-love and respect in any relationship.

I appreciate how you acknowledge the value of your tears and emotions, and how you will only shed them in the most meaningful moments. This shows a strength of character that is truly inspiring. I also love how you emphasized that you deserve honesty and loyalty, and will not settle for anything less than what you truly deserve.

As for improvement suggestions, I think it would be great if you could explore a bit more on how you plan to move forward from this experience. What steps will you take to ensure that you find joy and fulfillment in the future? How will you learn to trust again after being hurt? These are important questions that could add more depth to your poem and provide some helpful insights to readers who may be going through a similar experience.

Overall, I think your poem is wonderful and I hope that you continue to share your beautiful words with the world. Keep up the great work!
