Sensible Heart

To my ever-loving husband, Dexter

You have accepted me for who I am;
You have made my world as easy as I had prayed for.
You graciously helped me move on,
When treacherous waves cover my emotions.
You just solemnly, patiently kept me in your heart.
When gusty winds try to push us apart.
I was extremely blessed you were with me,
When there was no hope to survive.
I was so blessed you were there
When an angel touched our hearts.
A blessing of a blissful family,
It is what you and I had come up for.
As we withstand to make each other and every day a masterpiece,
We hope that it will still be you and me,
Up until infinity.

    This poem is so beautiful and heartwarming. The love and gratitude that the author has for her husband is so genuine and touching. The way she describes their relationship as withstanding treacherous waves and gusty winds is so powerful and inspiring. It's clear that they have been through a lot together, but their love and commitment to each other has never wavered. The final lines are particularly moving, as they express the hope that their love will endure forever. Thank you for sharing this wonderful tribute to your husband, it has truly touched my heart.

    Beautiful piece of poetry here paying tribute to what has been worth its former weight in loss and suffering. Love is more than novelty or word. Love is the embodiment of all things made novel and simple, as well as those things we are willing to endure when human dysfunction finds us at our worst. Love is the glue to binds us as life, ego, esteem and shortcoming seek to tear us apart. It's beautiful that you've found someone worthy of your attributes and liabilities both and respect it enough to acknowledge it.
