The clouds float slowly over
Their shadows dot the Land
The heather’s hundred
Hues the joy that
Scotsmen understand?
Don’t say the mistook
Scotch word.
Tis a drink like Bell, or Dewars.
And Scotsmen have a tendency
To daggers and to Wars.
And deer’s horn carved
And murals with flowers.
And bedding fresh and white.
