Love yourself

Always jumping head first without any thoughts or consequences often getting hurt
I guess it's the type of person I am because I go all in unrehearsed
Should’ve learn my lesson by now on how to deal with my many shortcomings
But no matter how many times I falter I'll always bounce back since my story is still ongoing

A new day starts anew there are better things to come the sun shall rise again
And wash away my tears so they can heal my shattered soul so that the healing can begin
Often hard on myself and my friends are always wishing me well
Yet something always seems missing in my life

Like a prisoner in an eternal confinement rotting in his cell

To love someone at their fullest I should love myself beforehand to start
A constant struggle till this day since Im still picking up pieces from my last broken heart
Should treat it like a life lesson and learn from it instead of seeing it as another failure
Absorb all the experience to rise up again there's no game over here yet

Although I seem strong from the physical point of view
To capture the heart of the opposite sexe is still something...I haven't gotten a clue.
The year is still new and I've taken steps to kickstart a reaction to shine
Instead of looking upon the sun & the moon hoping for the stars to align.
