"Taking You There" (Little Mo Knows)

Be still, just you hush...
Be quiet, just you listen...
For many are times, so oft that it seems...
When words say nothing...
Of all that I mean.

So please, lie serene...
And see, just you see...
Where the real never leads...
To that moment in dreams...
When a soul for once can be free.

Now hush...while I play you...
And hush...while I pull you...
Away from the fixed...
And away from the sure...
To a long-ago station that Angels endured.

With still smoothness you'll know...
From an abyss you'll know...
Of the longing, and aching...
And the pleasurable torment...
Only a mind can put to a soul.

And then...won't you ask me...
Oh yes...won't you beg me...
To give you a moment of real.
Stay hushed my sweet Angel...
Just dream my sweet Angel...
This charming of dreams that I feel.

About this poem

"Hush"! Such a soft and yet powerful word. A soft sound with exhaled breath. Gently it quiets you, it sooths you. Not the harsh words like "Shut-Up!!!!"

I have read two poems by you, Miss Drum, and not in a single instance were there not tears welling in my eyes. You mind is brilliant as are your words equal to your mind's task. LOVE LOVE LOVE your poetry.

Thank you for your kind words. I have hidden theses writings for many years. But you have inspired me to share them at this time in my life. I need someone like you to perhaps mentor me. Your poems are deep and your choice of words and rhyme are perfect. And the subject your poems cover show how how broad your mind is with understanding.

As, too, have you inspired me to carry forward with my deeds. I thank you for the kindness and truly hope you will provide the world with more of your offerings. Your mind is filled with beauty and wisdom. You deserve to be heard.
