Gallery of Words

A quick grasp on her beloved pen
Same energy just like back then
Paper, ink, and a cup of tea
New horizon to explore and see
Cluster of words quite entangled
Voluntarily they just mingled
In search of their rightful place
Longing for a warm embrace
    It’s that time
    A moment
    A play of rhyme
    A statement
    A sparkling space
    Glimmer of hope
    An endless chase
    Utopia to grope
In between all of that a line will form
Creating emotions of storm
Words with shadows that silently scream
Empowering feelings of a lost dream
It can trigger unfamiliar tears
It leaves a mark like that of spears
Random alphabets can make you crave
A simple stanza could make you brave
There’s no limit on what you’re capable
Everywhere you go there can be trouble
You may find light or be trapped in a maze
Ambiguity could set your heart ablaze
     It’s the art of writing
     A message to convey
     An act of believing
     A home to stay
A pair of sturdy wings to fly
     Unsaid meaningful goodbye
     A speck of light
     An instance to try
     Through day and night
     A desire to cry
There’s no need for me to explain it further
When you yourself knows well the danger
She can win a battle without those swords
As long as she owns that gallery of words!

Your comment made my day. It instantly brought a smile to my face. I'm just new to the community but to be honest I really love your poem - Foggy The Cat. Didn't get the chance to vote since I wasn't able to join the competition last month but when the results were out, I wanted to leave a comment on your poem but still not sure if I'll be welcomed well. Thanks for ensuring that I will be, I'll surely leave a comment anytime soon. Would love to read it again although I already did a few times. :)
