Time has gone

Time has gone... the joyful sky
watches as the colors emerge
The aroma of new life surrounds me
although I can't enjoy the smell

Time has gone... the sky is in anger
My hard skin protects me from
the dry air that surrounds everything
My feet hold tight to the humid ground

Time has gone... the sky watches with pity
My coat has grown old and lost its viridescent
All around me has turned yellow and pale
Some covered in a tone of soft blood

Time has gone... the sky is sad
His white tears begin to cover me
I try to give him comfort but cannot reach
I can only shiver in the cold
