1/365

Morning has come as the sun hits my face
Breakfast is waiting so I now have to race
Stretch out and yawn while I stare at the wall
Wash up and dress as I answer a call

Walk out the door and run straight to the stop
Some minutes later the bus makes a drop
Streets are all jammed but I make it on time
Five floors behind and still ten to climb

Time moves on slow and the labor is done
Lunchtime has come and I'm back to floor one
Time moves on fast when you're having fun
Eight hours of labor I'm finally done

Back to the stop where I gaze at a tree
Dream of someday just driving home free
Bus just in time as I'm woken from a roam
Then some minutes later I'm finally home

Dinner is served and a warmhearted hug
A shower, a movie, a kiss while we snug
Night has come with the shine of the moon
The sun hits my face it's morning too soon
