The intimacy

Things could change but I would never let one thing

Do we call this love or just a happy feeling?

We both know that love comes in different seasons

But whatever happens, I want to love you beyond reasons

I'm not all about your beauty

Though it was the first thing that caught my eye

I'm about your pure authenticity

Which makes me think this feeling will never die

I'm about the intimacy

The intimacy of getting kicked out of a place

The intimacy listening to a song and singing with it

The intimacy of soft touches on the hair and the face

The intimacy of sharing a memory we would never forget

The intimacy of long walks under city lights

The intimacy of sharing silence and laughing out loud

Getting blown by the wind and taking pictures of the clouds

And the intimacy of being hesitant to touch another's hand

Know that I'm still trying to build a heaven for the angel beside my throne

So that whenever you are with me, it would just feel like home

You called it "the first date" and that put a smile on me

Because I know you believe in the idea of dating to marry

And the purpose of dating is to know if were meant to be

But if you called it a date, will you marr...???
