To the girl I met when I was sixteen

To the girl I met when I was sixteen

Pretty as an angel, precious as a queen

I always want to ask you how have you been

But I was thinking that time gave us a distance between

Said I would never tell and never let you know

'cause I'm afraid that my actions would always fail to show

I was childish before but I have never let you go

Maybe we're really meant to separately grow

Am I crazy to think that we are both falling?

Over and over this "crazy little thing"

Am I crazy to think and put on those meaning?

Over the lyrics of the songs that we are both listening

I'm always daydreaming you and I driving

Singing and vibing to John Mayer's "no such thing"

Stereos booming 'till we couldn't hear the revving engine

But it makes me feel sad now that I can only imagine

Peacefully watching the sunrise in the morning

Tightly cuddling to the cold sunset in the evening

And stargazing, knowing that among the stars we're seeing

The brightest of them all is just next to me, lying

I can see you blushing

I can picture you giggling

If you would tell me at this moment that you ain't smiling

I am sure that you are a hundred percent lying

All these words that are rhyming

Would never really tell what I am feeling

Let me just tell you that I'd be patiently waiting

Praying that God won't give this love story an ending
