By my thoughts
My mission and my journey
Has brought me
To an awakening
of the day
Every moment and
Every minute
Is pressures to us and
Dear to us
"LIVING IN THE UNEXPECTED"
Another night has come
I lay amongst the stars
Day dreaming
Of a life
I wish
I had
The struggle is real
"LIVING IN THE UNEXPECTED"
Looking back at my youth
I can see
I never had a normal life
Every day was a fight
And I could only admire
The moment for what it was
And for what it is
"LIVING IN THE UNEXPECTED"
Pinching pennies
Just to get through
The week
I never thought the day
Would come
To where I would miss a meal
Or go weeks
Wishing for a warm or cold shower
