A day at the Beach

Have you ever
Caught yourself
Gazing into the Abyss of the sea
Capturing every wave
As it rolls
And as it crashes
The roaring sound
The thunderous clash
Against the shoreline
The sand rustles
In its wake
The power of nature
Has come awake
To reveal more life
The scatter of filter crabs
Trying to return to the sea
The scuttling of fish
That have been stranded by the sea..

“A day at the Beach

About this poem

This peace was inspired by an adventure in my life which had drove me to sit on the beach and take a few moments to myself..
