Why I Do

The reasons are varied and plenty,
why I do love you so.
Some of them I’ll mention here,
So you my love will know.

There’s that feeling in my gut,
when you look me in the eye.
Then there is how I’ll miss you,
when I’m gone and the days goes by.

There’s magic in that voice of yours,
when you begin to sing.
When I hear it lot’s of joy,
to me it’ll always bring.

Every time I think of you,
my heart always beats faster.
To tame this man and reign me in,                                                            
is something you did master.

The way you think is priceless,
you’re the smartest girl I know.
You’re brilliant way of reasoning,
makes my love for you grow.

Then there’s the way you hug me,
My goodness what a treat!
The way you hold me in your arms,
Just makes my day complete.

I wish I could repay you,
for all you’ve done for me,
but no matter how I try,
I’ll come up short you see.
