It’s a shame that I must be alone,
Through these my waning years.
It’s all that I thought it would be,
As I cry these lonely tears.

Many years ago I had a wife,
Whom I loved much,
But she was often out with,
Tom and Dick and Harry and such.

Without A View

I really shouldn’t want something,
That I know will never be.
There will never be a companion,
For a unwanted fellow like me.
Never was it meant to be,
That I should have a wife.
Always I’ll be left in want,
Living a life that’s full of strife.

Friendship

You are the nicest person I know,
And I adore you just the same.
My thoughts are with you when you go,
Ya I know, that’s kind of lame.

I’m worlds away from sanity,
And I’m crying in the rain.
Cringing at your vanity,
And feeling all this pain.
