A Letter To You

Hailey 2007

My head is spinning in circles, running laps around the constant thought of something happening.
I shake when I’m relaxed because my muscles are working hard not to fall apart.
I flinch at the sound of someone calling my name.
I jump when someone even moves near me.
I’m such a mess that I can’t even keep my head up in class to know what's going on.
Tears fall even when I don’t want them to because they’ve been held back too long, there's no more room for them in my eyes.
Don’t let me fall, don’t let me break, don’t let people near me. Only you. You’re the only person who I can stand to be in my vicinity. If I break out in tears please hold me. If I say I need you, I need you. If I say I miss you I need you. If I reach out, I need you. I just need you.
I’m here to let you know to go talk to the one you love because you don’t know when they need you, in my case, it’s constantly but I don't want to be too clingy. Be the clingy one, find out when they can talk, and do so. Don’t forget about their needs too, their needs may be you.
