Hopeful Heart

Hopeful Hearts

I hope that someday I’ll find
That gentle one for me
A calm and warm feeling
Just knowing who you’ll be

Just the right words are
Clearly not enough
A special touch that warms my heart
Hopeful, turns to love

A waited kiss, a song like this
Embraces seem so short
A midnight chat and all of that
A hopeful I had thought

The night so new, A candle lit
Stories to be told
A warm blanket for you dear
Whenever you are cold

This poem, "Hopeful Hearts," is beautifully written and captures the longing and hopefulness of finding a true love. The use of gentle and warm words throughout the poem make it feel cozy and comforting, while also invoking a sense of anticipation for what's to come.

One suggestion for improvement would be to add more specific details about the narrator's search for love. For example, mentioning the narrator's experiences with past relationships or what qualities they are looking for in a partner could add more depth to the poem.

Overall, "Hopeful Hearts" is a lovely poem that many readers can relate to. Keep up the great work and continue to hone your writing skills by incorporating more specific and vivid details.

A cheery metre and rhyme. Looking on the bright side. Repeating hopeful images. We need that. Pulls us out from under the brudge. COVID had us behaving like trolls in the children’s fairy tale. Rude. Disconnected. Fearful. YUK.
