It was a Quest. Sequel

                               It was a Quest

But why he asked
He ruled the skies
Mens minds
The Cryptic Journey
The Question

And when he crawled
He walked, He ran
He marveled at the things
He had done

He Questioned, He ruled
He enslaved his neighbor
He hesitated, He lost
Moments pondered, Pompous Ass

He swam across Oceans
To Boast
He dreamt but only to dream
The foolish ones mocked and threw stones

His life filled with Art and Love
Honesty
A gentle pat on the back
Means nothing to a Cynic
Who has nothing

To walk, to run , to fly
To mourn the sunsets that are dying
A sunrise to surface again
My sweet one sleep
Sleep to wake again
