                          Rest my Love

I can’t say your love
Was taken from me
It will always be there
Journeys we’ve had
The silent moments
The language never spoken
Understood

Empty spaces you once stood
A reminder of a sadness
Never forgotten, As tears remembered
Close to my heart

Rest my sweet love
Rest just knowing
I celebrate my life knowing
Your loving heart still
Caresses mine

I’ll continue to live
With prayers in my heart
So Rest my love
Remembered
