My sister Lisa

when my phone rang i knew it was Steve
calling to tell me it was time to grieve
on the day the good Lord called you home
was momma there or were you alone
did you wait at the crossroads for lil awhile
was she happy to see you did it make her smile
were you happy to leave here or in a big hurry
was it to hide your pain or stop all our worries
were you suffering alot there at the last
or did you go quietly as you laid there and passed
did your life flash before you like some people say
or only the things you did that day
oh Lisa my sister please come to my dreams
or somehow quiet the horrible screams
the screams i hear loudly inside of my head
God please no my lil sisters not dead
