The abyss

staring out in to the dark abyss
when its all done will I be missed
will they wonder of my very last thought
will they care about the things I fought
will it matter then how my pain was great
and how all the love had been turned to hate
will they wonder was there more they could've done
to show me the things in life that were fun
as the abyss stares back with not the smallest reprieve
her body is here still but her soul is now free.
