Endless Sorrow



My brother spoke harshly to me, for cutting school that day, no one knew the words he spoke, would be the last that he would say

One minute I felt joy, my family was alive,
the next my heart beat too fast, not wanting to survive

Memories flashed in my mind, like a runaway train,
my emotions were overwhelmed, because of all the pain

I sit here and try to explain, how I felt at that time,
no words in the human language, would work on this rhyme

When my brother passed away, changed forever was my life, an ocean of tears I did cry, from tormented strife

No wife or kids or life at all, that day I did die,
constant prayer from that day forth, asking Jesus why
