Sir Evergrace Longsword 1967 (California)

A modern miracle, is what you seek,
a true story is here, as I speak

One cold dark night, as I walked a beat,
a mountain lion I saw, who came to greet

I shined a light, upon his face,
I soon left, with undignified grace

His stance was firm, he stood his ground,
I was saved, by he who is crowned

A debt I owe, that cannot be repaid,
to the son of God, whom I am not afraid
