Summertime Kids

Kooky and Crazy, is what kids are these days,
to do lots of things, in so many different ways

Laughing and dancing, and feeling right good,
pretending to be a fairy, flying all through the wood

Coloring their faces, with sparkles that shine,
or of furry little creatures, that turn out just fine

Swimming in the ocean, or running down the beach,
eating all kinds of fruits, like that of a peach

Singing to music, or writing in a book,
making favorite foods, while learning to cook

Hanging out with their friends, and going different places, playing with each other, having different kinds of races

They are summertime kids, without a single care,
whatever they do, they do it with flare
