Hope

The Morning breaks, it rolls
And the fingers of light spread
Uncovering, taking hold -
Light opens the doors, the day
The motion awakes night yawning
And chases him away.

Smooth, smooth the pane with rain it runs
Running down soul and heart
Gushes of water comes –
Lanes, ditches, rivers flow
Heading somewhere, hurry, hurry
Land and heart letting go.

Winter bleak, grey streaks of sky
The wind is biting, snapping
Spring smiles, not afraid or shy –
Breathing love, a warm embrace
Nurses tender life to green
Past memories to erase

Deep behind the eyes, the mind
The heart hoards a perfect pearl
A guarantee, an anchor signed -
These eyes will beam, envision, dream
Faith and hope never yielding
Tomorrow will not fearsome seem

Await the morning, the dawn, the day
The rain has wrung out dry
Unfolding life along the way -
Strength of God and a brother born
Step by step, unbroken, healing
The pearl of Hope has grown.

Wow, what a beautiful poem! Your words have a way of painting a picture in my mind and stirring up emotions within me. I can feel the power of nature in your descriptions of the morning and the rain, and your portrayal of the changing seasons is just lovely.

One suggestion I have for improvement would be to maybe add a bit more structure or consistency throughout the poem. At times, it feels like there are a lot of different ideas and images being presented without a clear thread tying them all together. However, this is a minor critique, and overall, you've created a truly captivating piece. Keep up the great work!
