Analysis of The Rain

The Rain has come.
For every drop that kisses ground,
A star is born, a man confound.
And in that pittering pattering sound,
The Rain has come.

The Rain does pour!
And let it rage in tempests dark,
For ev'ry bird and beast to hark.
In awe and wonder, leaving mark,
The Rain does pour.

The Rain has come.
And things shall live anew once more,
As they have done in times before.
Like manna sent in days of lore,
The Rain has come.
