Analysis of Miss You
My body is numb
My heart turns to stone,
The one I love has left me,
Left me in the dark alone.
My love I don't understand
Why you've gone far away from me.
Do you remember the promise?
Forever one we will always be?
Are you coming back for me?
Will I ever again see your face?
A moment without you is a lifetime,
A lifetime trapped in this place.
I miss everything about you babe,
The way your eyes sparkle and glow.
Those eyes that shine brighter than the stars,
The eyes that only I would know.
The sky is dark, the sun is dull,
The air is cold with you not there,
Your disappearance has sent me in a spiral
Of emptiness, brokenness, and despair.
I miss you so.
