Analysis of Merrily We Roll Along

Merrily we roll along when suddenly a curve
turns our health upside down
and depletes our verve

Merrily we roll along when suddenly a shock
turns our plans upside down
and discards our clock

Merrily we roll along when suddenly a crash
turns our wealth upside down
and pilfers our cash

Merrily we roll along when suddenly a scare
turns our peace upside down
and ruffles our flair

Merrily we roll along when suddenly a wrap
turns our world upside down
and destroys our map

Merrily we roll along when suddenly a truth
turns our minds upside down
and expands our couth
