Analysis of Doppelgangers

Spooky doppelgangers
unsheathe their deadly claws
in the twilight shadows concealing tragic flaws.

Cultural superstitions
augur many troubles
for those of ghostly twins who see their own doubles.

Eerie doppelgangers
disguise their ghoulish goals
in foraging graveyards preying on hapless souls.

Cultural superstitions
presage you're soon to die
if you see your likeness from corners of the eye.

Feeble doppelgangers
expose their glassy jaws
in a weak position revealing fatal flaws.
