Analysis of Cruel Comparison

say I'm like her
The one that hurt you
It's really a cruel statement to make

I'm nothing like her
If all you said was true
I really don't want to be like her

Lies, deception and other traits
I'm like her
Am I now?
It can't be true

Your words stung
What you said to me
I buried deep down inside

You've forgotten what you said
But I haven't yet
I'll put it behind me
But I'll never forget

I'm nothing like her
If all you said was true
I really don't want to be like her
