The beat keeps pounding
Against the soft spring air
Music is life
Good music is rare
Don't know what would become of me
Without any beat
So I keep listening
As I slowly get lost in it
Music really feeds my soul
It's god's gift to us
It's been there for me
Like no person will ever know
