Analysis of Broken Promises Part 1 (Poem No. 532)
Broken Promises ( free verse) Part 1
Please don't give me that look,
I don't want to be tempted to open our old book.
We have different situation now,
You drove fast and lost your vow.
There is someone now between us,
Carrying your child inside.
How can you afford to break her heart
By still dwelling in our past.
We can't go back to our beautiful past,
although it break my heart to see you
Lost in our promises and love;
I will bear with it for the sake of your child.
Though I will be traveling alone with out you
We have our lovely memories to keep me through...
No one can take away the love I've felt for you
I will bear the pain of my broken heart without you.
