Analysis of Dark

Leonard Castillo 1963 (Colorado)

Dark as pitch thoughts filled with dread
Nothing to focus no where to go
A singularity that consumes

A sight less tomorrow there is no light
Yesterday's today's have come full circle

Highways of shattered dreams
Fastways leading nowhere
Empty boulevards broken avenues
Dreams unfulfilled
Death looms all to familiar

High as sky it was inevitable
Comes crashing down
Years of indestructible living brings endings

Dark empty lifeless life
Ceases to be

Was a hero

Leonard Castillo

I have a terminal illness, that has brought me to realize we are fragile as is Crystal. There was a book of poetry published many years ago; titled The Colors of Life. I had a poem published in it. I am very proud of those words that I hope give inspiration to others. This platform is needed to share and inspire others to use their words to help growth, and understanding be it good bad or indifferent. My time is short so I hope my words can inspire whom ever reads them to reach new heights of their Lives... L. more…
