Forward Moving Progress

Life always moving flowing crossing
Perpetual motion celestial in nature
We are always in motion even in sleep

Some of us realize the motion Has stopped
Stuck no end no tomorrow as gloomy as the
Clouded sky our lives have become a wasteland
Of broken dreams and forgotten promises

Swirling around like the twisters of our realities
The fabric of our realities has burned our lives
A rememnant of a distant reality reminds us
A thread ensnared our world unravels

Tomorrow had brought darkness
Overshadowed a step is taken
My shadow is leading me towards
The day sky is clear as I open my eyes
The torment of mine past has haunted

Open again a page as white as the snow
To be written upon by one above
Called upon again the reverence is felt
Throughout the above
A slight push here another there

In place it has begun the pieces in play
Looking up an angel has decended upon my life
Intervening in the guise of another
Also lost so long ago now doing the work
For the one above reminding me of the
Words that were written in captivity only to find themselves freed from the tyranny of their chains

Rest and calm has brought about change
Within a light shines down upon the way
Follow your dreams and make them a reality
What was death has been turned into life

Darkness invading like a cancer
Cut out by a bolt of lightning it yields retreats
The darkness folds into what is
The Start
Life worth living
IT HAS BEGUN

Leonard Castillo

I have a terminal illness, that has brought me to realize we are fragile as is Crystal. There was a book of poetry published many years ago; titled The Colors of Life. I had a poem published in it. I am very proud of those words that I hope give inspiration to others. This platform is needed to share and inspire others to use their words to help growth, and understanding be it good bad or indifferent. My time is short so I hope my words can inspire whom ever reads them to reach new heights of their Lives... L. more…
