Madness

Oh how we wander thru streets of empty dreams
Broken sorrows fill our endless walks
Desolate and madness dwell behind these eyes
Come see if you dare the inferno of lost LOVE
The lost emotions bring forth darkness

Underlying in the shadows of what was once
Safety
Overcome by thoughts of suicide and mayhem
Broken beyond destruction nothing resembles
A life of what was but now a void winding
Thru empty alley's and dreams forgotten
Nevermore to be sought after again

End of the road byways of decimated highways leading to the hell lived on
This place called home

Forgotten and forsaken walking never stopping
A dream of what was flashed before my eyes
Lost forever in the darkness of what has become the madness behind these eyes

Leonard Castillo

I have a terminal illness, that has brought me to realize we are fragile as is Crystal. There was a book of poetry published many years ago; titled The Colors of Life. I had a poem published in it. I am very proud of those words that I hope give inspiration to others. This platform is needed to share and inspire others to use their words to help growth, and understanding be it good bad or indifferent. My time is short so I hope my words can inspire whom ever reads them to reach new heights of their Lives... L. more…
