Analysis of Déjà Vu All Over Again

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

LORD you can stop, pause and rewind
To do as you see fit
And no one can stand in your way
LORD you created it
By it I’m saying everything
Let the reader understand
That you are LORD, God, King and prince
All creation you command

If you did not create it
It was never given birth
The universe, the things in it
The sea and all the earth
Time is your creation too
It’s a hands-on operation
There’s no remote control with you
Just a power demonstration
