The Big Show

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The leaves in the trees all rustle
When the Lord of the earth does the hustle
The wind is hanging out in the trees
With all the horns providing the breeze

He makes His angels winds and they go
Preparing the stage for the next show

The whirlwind comes down for destruction
A mighty wind providing the suction
He’ll sweep the stage clean once again
And this is your fate in the end

The wind does not always keep blowing
But we must be prepared for His showing
