Analysis of BROKEN PIECES OF TRUST

Everything had truly ended
The delicate moments we shared
And the painful tears we shed together
Had become echos in an abyss.

The bridge we built to link our hearts,
The places I was taken to by your touch,
And the beautiful paradise we both created,
All came crumbling down with a few words.

I managed to remain strong
Despite the weight of your trust I carried,
Yet you deliberately let mine fall
And watched as it slowly hit the ground and broke.
Then as you smiled you departed with another in the dark ,
Leaving me on my knees, as I gathered the pieces.
