Love From Above
Love, a feeling to many so common and others rare
Which when confined seeks to escape and lay itself bare.
Yet freedom granted to it may breed nothing but despair.
That beautiful dream manifests itself as a dreadful nightmare.
Leaving the lot to question the authenticity of this very emotion.
With the masses assuming his goal is to just birth destruction.
For the relationships built which fell even will they sweat and education,
Made it quite clear the world had given love a weak foundation.
All of the successes of love's failures are of cause
The neglect of the words from he who died on the cross.
For the messages he delivered with all the affection.
Spoke much about love against it was no objection.
The highest step In Love he willingly took
By lowering himself and taken on a vulnerable look.
So his life he'd forfeit by entering the darkness,
To provide the light we'd need to exit the emptiness.
A mighty love the life and death of this man testified,
So in it people will find joy and a place to abide.
And till date I hear voices of that great love,
The one that came from somewhere above.
