Analysis of But the end never comes

Light upon blue and white
Darkness spreads the night
I lie upon my bed and cry out
Whys that let out silent crys
Whatever they say doesn't matter
More and more
I see it all in my fall
Taken back to a time and place
With a smile left on my face
Breaking all ties and crosses
That hang on the rack
My clothes are clean
New things have come to me
Now I must be strong
From the past that covers me
The dagger sinks deep
The cloak is in mirrors and smoke
Done for all time
Stars fall from the heavens
But the end never comes
