Laced in script

Mark Cloutier 1972 (Kaneohe)

Laced in script
Written in by each line
Of the divine of mind
They look for her to burn
In the fires of a higher desire
In abodes above
And grounds below
But before she leaves
We are taken in
And thrown out again
Never leaving a trace
Of what was laced in script
But what was found
Is bound going down
Only to rise in the divine
And the mind and light
And the heart that burns
Within her desires
By every night in time
And every day in age
