Analysis of THE GHOST I KNEW ONCE BEFORE

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

As night time comes once again,
As I look deep down inside  for
A friend. Like a knock upon my
Door, memories of you sweep like
Leaves across my floor. Haunting
Me of a ghost I knew once before.
I was not afraid but yet I wanted
More. You hold the key to unlock
My door the ghost I knew once
Before.
