the watcher of worlds

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

the watcher of worlds

walking in time lost between worlds that  only frees my mind
all the colors around me crying and dying what can I do being so
blinded by you . For you know  I don't even have a clue
for the truth of it all. It only comes down to me and you

But now I see the lines into the tunnel has we
fall into  a magic funnel that pour from our souls
of broken hearts only to leaves us cold

has we walk from star to star
never knowing who we
are . I only know what I see something
I want but can never be

For I am a watcher of  worlds
between the love I have for you girl

Lost in a sad song,
but I still live on and on
For I am the sun
and you are my moon
but with out  your love
I will  be surly be doom

For I am a watcher of worlds
between the love I have for you girl
for in time I hope you may see
the love I have for you
will always be. until that day you are free
as I laid my head to sleep
looking out my window
only to break down to weep
for the love. I have for you is
my secret that I must  keep
for I am a watcher of worlds
between the love I have for you girl
