Analysis of Little Toes
Sherry Caayupan 1980 (Davao city)
A kindred spirit I was,
At seconds or at one;
Light of the room to pass,
She held me beloved of ton;
These walls witnessed no pain,
No melancholy or folly;
Cloth of pure heart with no stain,
Together live in happily;
There's a silent hush in my cry,
A cry of less distant gladness;
It's as if we are all lovers who fly,
This kind of love's one true madness.
