Untied Bliss

Sherry Caayupan 1980 (Davao city)

Let us waltz together in moonlight,
Your arms and my arms;
We are blessed, not punished slight,
Under a spell of wooing charms;

We took each other's hearts,
Pledged to fall in love for everlast;
We promised on a shining star,
Never knew we'd fall so fast;

Take my hand down the road,
Before we start the pace;
Let us enjoy, never get stoned,
Life is an unceasing race;

Let me wait for your dance,
I'd tango with you;
I will never let this gift of chance,
Be still nor be through.
