Analysis of Lost in the galaxy
GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)
It’s huge, dark and endless
An abyss in the universe
A sea of constellations
With bright starry pearls
I wander in here alone
A lone solitary soul
Weeping with melancholy
Of the pain of despair
Whence do I begin
And whence do I end
Am I alive at all
Or a damned lost soul
Who will pull me away
From the depths haunting
Threatening to swallow me
Into their fathomless bottom
Can anyone hear me?
Is there anyone with me?
Will somebody save me?
Please!!!
I must be guided to lucidity
From this land of hallucination
Plagued with misery and despair
Torments most awful to the soul
My dark mental galaxy!
