This is my first public poem I hope you enjoy it.It is cryptic in nature and its meaning changes once you have finished reading it and taken the time to look at the Capitalization of the poem.
The word prase (a low value gemstone) is use instead of praise first to represent a misspelling of PRAISE and second to take the place of the "gold star" that clever pupils get showered with in school.
fiend is a misspelling of friend and foreshadows the relationship between the teacher and pupil.
It ends off with the teachers writing off the pupil as unintelligent.
Once you finish the poem if you take the time to connect the upper case letters (if you look deeper into the pupils situation as a teacher should do) you realize Dyslexia is spelled out.
