I am an artist and musician in Seattle. For most of my 60 years I have been a caregiver so much of my poetry is about my experiences with people who have disabilities. Expressing myself within the poetic parameters I establish in that first stanza keeps my synapses firing furiously folding the words into puzzled perfection. Or sometimes I just let it go where it needs to go.
