Deeper Does The Heart Dwell

In an ocean of love I've come to learn
Deeper than a pearl does the heart dwell
And the flames of passion boil and burn
Licking desires fire water can't quell

The pressure of hope on its fragile shell
Pushing downward on a planet of sun
Causing moons of worship pulling tides swell
Weighing my all in floods of devotion

Your pearl is a prize my heart has won
Currents of chance have brought us together
Layers of years trust builds wisdom begun
The bead grows strong swimming in each other

At the surface of life roll waves of love
Lustrous beautiful gems shining above!
