Azziem has an abundance of experience working with public organizations, unions, co-workers and Management. Azziem is a member and 1st President for Advocacy with Democrats for Diversity and Inclusion. Board Member and former Chair of the 11th Legislative District Democratic Organization & Former Chair of the 8th CD Central Committee Past Chairman and 2012 Obama National Delegate. Azziem was a long time President of the Washington State Democratic African American Caucus. Azziem also held board position in King County Democratic Central Committee KCDCC. where he chaired the Legislative Action Committee. One of his proudest moments was in 1998 when he won the Warren G. Magnuson Award for Committeeman of the year. In 2000 Azziem ran for State Senate in the 5th LD (D) against the incumbent and looks forward to running for an Office again.
