Aaron Matthew Beharry was born on October 30, 2001, in Saint Clair Medical Centre, Saint Clair, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, to former bank officer, and businesswoman Stacy Kavita Bhagwansingh of East Indian descent and singer, songwriter, and businessman Roger Beharry of East Indian descent. He was named after two biblical characters, Aaron who was a prophet and the brother of Moses, and Matthew who was a publican, and a tax collector for the Roman Empire. His parents, Stacy Kavita Beharry (Stacy Kavita Bhagwansingh) and Roger Beharry got married on October 25, 1998, at Saint Philip & Saint James Roman Catholic Church in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago, and later got divorced a few years after his birth on December 7, 2004, where the petition was filed on September 27, 2004, in the High Court of Justice in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago before the Honourable Madame Justice Rajnauth-Lee. He remained with his mother, Stacy Kavita Bhagwansingh, and grandmother, Indrawati Singh. His mother, Stacy Kavita Bhagwanisngh was granted full custody while his father, Roger Beharry was granted liberal access to their son, Aaron Matthew Beharry. Aaron Matthew Beharry's father then got married a second time to Diann Balroop-Beharry on October 21, 2007. Aaron Matthew Beharry has two younger half-siblings: Aidan Beharry and Katelynn Beharry through Roger Beharry and his second wife, Diann Balroop-Beharry. His father, Roger Beharry is a singer, songwriter, and the Director of Environmental Services Pest Control since January 17, 2006. Aaron Matthew Beharry's mother then got married a second time to Ravesh Jhinkoo from December 8, 2010, at Miracle Ministries International in Chase Village, Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago, to December 14, 2020, who died on December 14, 2020, in LP #12 Penzance, Balandra Road, Toco, Trinidad and Tobago in a traffic collision around 1:50 PM. [1] [2] [4] Aaron Matthew Beharry does not have any younger half-siblings through Stacy Kavita Bhagwansingh (Stacy Jhinkoo) and her second late husband, Ravesh Jhinkoo. Aaron Matthew Beharry decided to legally change his name from ”Aaron Matthew Beharry” to ”Aaron Matthew Jhinkoo” via Protocol Of Deeds (Deed Poll) in December of 2019 to honor his step-father, Ravesh Jhinkoo for being a father figure in his life and caring for Aaron as his very own son. He then reverted back to his birth name, "Aaron Matthew Beharry" in June of 2022 after the death of his step-father, Ravesh Jhinkoo in late December of 2020.
